1 Metered Bandwidth and Bandwidth Usage
Each subscription option uses metered bandwidth. Excessive uploads or downloads in a given month will result in the following additional fees for that month (1GB=1,000MB ...or about 300 MP3 songs):

         Gigabytes
per month
    Additional
Residential Fee
    Additional
Business Fee
0GB-1.5GB (Included) (Included)
1.5GB-2GB $5 (Included)
2GB-3GB $10 (Included)
3GB-4GB $20 (Included)
4GB-5GB $30 (Included)
5GB-6GB $40 $10
(and so on...)

To give you an idea of what 1GB is, it would take about 300 MP3 songs to fill up 1GB.

Bandwidth abuse (excessive uploading and downloading of large files) consumes a great deal of operational resources and requires frequent (and expensive) upgrades for any Internet service provider. National averages show that a typical broadband subscriber uses anywhere between 50 and 300 MB of bandwidth in an average month. This is true of our current customer averages. Bandwidth abusers can consume 100 times that amount

In order to curb excessive bandwidth abuse, many Internet service providers throttle the connection speed (thereby forcing large files to take even longer to move from point to point). By metering user accounts, Browse4Less is able to offer higher connection speeds to everyone while keeping the network free of excessive traffic. Customers with excessive uploads or downloads in a given month will be charged an additional fee for that month.
